MY STORY

My name is KitnHevn’s Princess Alice and I am the Princess.  I came into Momma and Daddy’s life almost by accident.  Momma’s cat Brendan had died and her three girls and Daddy’s two girls were not getting along so she decided they needed boys.  Momma had been corresponding with Tani, who was a breeder and rescuer, and she asked Tani if she had rescue boys and Tani said she did.  When Momma and Daddy and the kids got to our house, Momma picked me up and noticed I had a bump.  That is my xyphoid process sticking out and I could not be bred, so I was available.  Momma’s original plan was to adopt two white females with blue eyes so she could have a Duchess and a Marie but I had other plans.  When Momma was writing out the check for Curly and Anubis, I started to climb up her pants leg.  She was hooked.  She called Tani and the decision was made to adopt me.

I came home with her on December 4, 2001, an early Christmas present.  When Daddy came home that night, he asked if I was real.   I was so cute, he thought I was a toy.  My Kitty Cat father’s lineage is European and they like a larger cat so, even though I do have the delicate bone structure of a Turkey (Turkish Angora), I am a more substantial cat.  I am not going to lie, I am a big girl.

I love Momma and get very cranky if I don’t spend enough time with her.  Of course, always on my time.  Momma will tell me that she has been home all day and I decide to get on her lap just before she goes to bed.

I am also a little bit bossy but then again, we Turkeys do take on the traits of the humans we bond to and Momma is bossy, too.

I love my Momma and my Daddy and I love it here at our house.
