MY STORY

My name is Antonia and I am a very pretty silver tabby girl.  I was born outside with my sisters Weegee and Callie and my brother Joey.  We all showed up with our Momma cat in June, 2008.  After awhile our Momma cat left us and the nice people at Spay the Strays helped Momma and Daddy get us spayed and neutered.  We had to be trapped first and Weegee and I were the first ones to be trapped.  Miss Lois, our neighbor helped by feeding us and getting us used to humans.  We were trapped in early September.  I have an ear nick because the plan was to release me outside but that did not happen as I picked at my spay stitches and I, too, wore the “collar of shame”.  I ended up with a slight infection and by then I knew I wanted to be an inside kitty.

Momma had to give me and Weegee medicine and I would eat all of the wet food so Momma had to separate us.  Since I was such a pig, Momma named me after St. Anthony, the patron saint of swineherds.

Later on, Callie and Joey were trapped and spayed and neutered and they live with Miss Lois at her house.  She spoils them and loves them very much.  I think we are very lucky to find such good homes.
