My name is Hannah and I am a silver and orange tabby
tortie. I am a lighter version of Weegee in color. I showed up in late
March, 2010. Momma and Daddy were worried about me because I looked so
young and I was fatter everyday. They trapped me on April 10, which
became my birthday. They took me to the vet the next week and Dr.
Groberg said I was going to have kittens at any day. She also said I
was maybe a year old, if that. They offered to help find homes for my
babies. I am either a very friendly feral or I was dumped and Momma did
not want me to have kittens, get spayed, and be dumped outside again.
She thought being abandoned once was enough.
I got my name because I am a Momma Cat and Momma thought
about MC Hammer and decided to name me Hannah.
My kittens were born April 19, on KJ’s birthday. They
were named Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie. They are an orange tabby male, a
gray tabby female, and a white male who became a very handsome gray
tabby Siamese mix.
When Momma and Daddy went to Miami for Daddy’s eye
appointment, we went to the vet to be boarded. The plan was to leave
the kittens and bring me home but Alpha, now known as Alphonso, had a
heart murmur so he came home, too. Charlie found a home with a very
nice lady and I am so happy for him, but I do miss him sometimes. I was
spayed about two weeks after that so no more kittens for me.
I like it here and am still getting used to all of the
attention. I get along well with the other cats.
