MY STORY

My name is KitnHevn’s Sir Lancelot but I am known around here as Lance.  I am Daddy’s birthday present.  When Momma adopted Alice, Daddy was a little jealous because she bonded with Momma so fast and he wanted a cat that was just his.  He wanted a Maine Coon but Momma told him he did not want 25 pounds of cat on his lap.  At about that time, Alice’s Kitty Cat Momma, Tessa, had me and my brother, Henry.  My nose was a little short and Tani, our breeder was not going to show me so she had me at a cat show to sell.  Momma and Daddy were helping out and Daddy held me for awhile.  I was not cuddly and Daddy was concerned but Momma told him I had been at the show for two days and I was not comfortable.  Miss Tani thought it would be a great idea, so Momma and Daddy adopted me.  I get car sick and I yakked on the way home.  We stopped at a rest area and cleaned me up and Momma told Daddy to sit in the back seat with me and let me know it was okay.

As you can see by my pictures, my nose grew some and I am a handsome boy.

Daddy had the next two days off from work so he and I bonded.  Miss Tani’s last words to Momma that day were “stay away from that cat”.  She knew I would bond with Momma and Momma did what she was told.  Alice wasn’t too happy but I let her know I was here to stay!  I bonded with Daddy and when Momma would hold me, I would jump out of her arms and onto Daddy’s shoulders.  I love Momma but not as much as Daddy.  When I had been home a couple of weeks, Daddy commented that I smelled funny.  Momma picked me up and told Daddy that I smell like him.

I am the Beta; I make sure everybody is okay.  It’s hard work but I like my job. I love my home and I especially love my Daddy.
