I came into Momma’s life about a year
after her Grandpa died. She was at the pet store buying cat food
and I was for sale. The story is that I came from a Persian
breeder’s house and my face is too long and my tail is too short. I
was $50 which Momma thought was a good deal because the feline
leukemia tests and shots are that much.
I came to live with Momma and six
other cats so I was kind of aggressive. I have never been too much
of a snuggler. Momma says I am so mean she is going to take me out
in the woods. Of course she has not done that. I am a lot like
Momma, when things are going my way, I am very sweet but when they
don’t, watch out. I also love to call mouse with pieces of paper.
I am not a very good groomer and I
tend to mat. Momma and Daddy have to comb me out every now and
then. Not fun for any of us. I have been to the vets twice to get
shaved.
I was very close to Brendan and when
he died, Momma thought I seemed kind of lost. I am much closer to
Daddy than to Momma, he tolerates me better, just like he tolerates
Momma.
Momma says I am the only one that
comes to the door to greet her when she comes home and I don’t
expect anything. I also run and get food every time she comes in
the house.
In August 2006, I was diagnosed with
inoperable cancer. I currently enjoy my days by myself in the front
bedroom where it is nice and quiet and warm just the way I like it.
Momma and Daddy come to see me frequently to feed, groom and cuddle
me.
On October 16, 2006, I passed
over the Rainbow Bridge.
I was a fighter but my cancer eventually got bad enough where I
could not eat. I will miss my Momma and Daddy as I know that they
miss me.
